The hour has struck. The destiny of the Sherbrooke Yarn Stormers now leads us toward the shores of the Island of Great Cumbrae. On Tuesday, the 16th of June, we shall make our advance.
We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall leave our needles at home, for this is a mission of movement and momentum.
Logistics
To ensure our crossing of the Clyde runs with precision, the following appointments are hereby ratified:
Captain Morven: Placed in absolute command of Chauffeur-driven Transport. She shall oversee the movement of our forces by land and sea, ensuring no Stormer is left wandering the mainland docks like a burst bobbin!
Major Mags: Appointed to lead all Tactical Manoeuvres. Her particular focus shall be the daring infiltration of Public Transport. Under her gaze, the transition from train to ferry shall be seamless.
Special Forces: The Knitted Platoon
Major Mags shall also have under her personal guard a platoon of 20 Knitted Soldiers. These woollen veterans are scheduled for rigorous beach training. They must learn to hold their formation against the relentless Atlantic breeze and the shifting sands. We expect them to show the grit that has made them the heroes they are today!
The Midday Objective: Manoeuvres of this magnitude require proper sustenance. Captain Morven is further tasked with the reconnaissance, selection, and securing of the Lunch Venue. She shall ensure the perimeter is safe and the rations are sufficient.
