The purpose of this memo is to inform you that with immediate effect I have been promoted by the Staff Sergeant.  This is because our recruitment drive has been exceptional and we now should be operating as a Company because we have the numbers and capabilities! 

COMPANY 
A company has anywhere from a few dozen to 200 soldiers. It’s a tactical-sized unit that can perform a battlefield function on its own.  A company consists of platoons and is generally commanded by a captain.

PLATOON
A platoon consists of a few squads and up to a few dozen soldiers. They’re generally run by a lieutenant.

Because of your outstanding commitment to our task you have all been promoted to squadron leaders.  If you feel you have the capabilities to be a Lieutenant.  Come prepared to present your case at out next Map Room Meeting Tuesday 4th March 13:00
